Membership Eligibility: Membership is voluntary. There are three types of membership: Active, Associate, and Honorary; as defines below. Membership and eligibility for office may not be denied to anyone because of race, creed, religion, sex, disability, age, or national origin. Military member does not need to be a member of Club XL for the spouse to join OSC.                    Active:                                 -Spouses of commissioned officers or Warrant officers of any Armed Forces on active                                      duty status, including Active Guard and Reserves (AGRs) at Laughlin AFB or elsewhere.                    Associate:                                 -Spouses or adult dependents (18 years or older) of retired and/or deceased officers of                                      any Armed Forces.                                 -Adult dependents (18 years or older) other than spouses living in the household of                                      sponsors who are active duty officers.                                 -Spouses of civil service personnel or key civilian employees with officer equivalent                                      grade.                                 -Spouses of deceased civil service employees with officer equivalent grade.                                 -Spouses of officers that are part-time Traditional Reservists (TRs) of any Armed Forces.                 Honorary:                                 -With the approval of the Board, the President and Honorary President may invite such                                     persons as are deemed appropriate to be Honorary Members. Payments and Dues: Dues will be $48.00 per year. Active and Associate members must pay dues through Club XL billing or directly to the Membership Chairperson. Dues paid to the Membership Chairperson must be paid in full, with cash or check, through the end of the current Board year. Monthly Meetings: Monthly board meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month and LOSC social functions are held at least once a month. Reservations: Reservations for monthly events are recommended! You may choose to add your name to the permanent reservations list. (Current Club XL card holders only) If for any reason you do not cancel your reservation before the reservation deadline, you will be charged for that event. We are responsible to Club XL to pay for each reservation. Guests: Any guest shall be allowed to attend once in a board year. Please note that guest’s eligibility to win certain prizes such as Bingo will be restricted. Disenrollment: Active and Associate Members may resign from LOSC by notifying the Membership Chairperson. Club XL must be notified by the member to stop payments if paying dues via the “Club Card.” If a refund of dues paid is appropriate, the cash or check paying member will be responsible for submitting a request in writing to the Membership Chairperson. The refund will be for the remainder of dues paid in excess of the first four month’s due, in accordance with the LOSC By- Laws.   To become a memember please fill out the Membership Form and bring it with you to the next OSC social.
